Pine
Pine is a softwood timber. It is used by us mainly for windows. It has knots and can eventually bleed sap through finishes, and due to this and its increased movement ( in relation to hardwoods), requires more maintenance to prolong its lifespan. Pine is an economical alternative to the other timbers we offer.
Oak
European and American Oak has a dense durable heartwood, and is commonly used for internal and external joinery work. Traditionally the timber is given a clear finish, to allow the beautiful colours of the timber to shine.
Sapele
Derives its name from Sapele in Nigeria, and is an African hardwood, with similar properties and appearance to Mahogany. It is a dense timber with limited movement, making it an ideal choice for use in external joinery work.
